The Beauty of Springtime Colours

Hello Everyone!!!  It's the first Monday of the month and that means it's another Bring Back Beautiful Challenge!!!!  This month it's the Beauty of Springtime Colors! Soft shades that remind us of spring flowers sprouting from the ground - these shades are the focus of this month's BBB challenge! The color choice is yours! Link your Bring Back Beauty Challenge card here to enter. If you upload to SCS, please use the keyword BBB09. You have until April 30th to enter! As we unveil our challenge for next month, we’ll share our True Beauties – those card makers who wowed us with this challenge! Winners will be featured on the Flourishes Blog and will receive a True Beauty blog button to display proudly on their blog!

Today I've chosen to use one of my FAV sets - Butterflies and Blossoms!  I just love the beautiful Clematis and Butterflies and it just sings Spring to me!!!

I started with a base of Very Vanilla and layered with green bazzill, more vanilla punched with the MS Lattice Arch punch and then topped with some green Papermania Rose Garden DP and some pink taffeta ribbon.  The next panel is more Rose Garden DP matted with pale pink bazzill.  I stamped the Butterflies and Blossoms image in Memento Tuxedo Black onto X-press It Blending Card and coloured with Copics (RV000, RV10, RV13, G20, G21, G24, Y21, Y23, YR23, YR24, BG0000, E51). It was cut out with Large Rectangle Nestabilities and matted with green bazzill cut with Lacey Rectangle Nestabilities.  The sentiment is from the same set and has also been stamped in Tuxedo Black and cut with Small Oval Nestabilities and popped up on foam tape.  Next I added a pink taffeta bow (ribbon care of my sweet friend Angie!) and sprinkled a few Kaisercraft Blush Pearls.

Stamps - Butterflies and Blossoms (Flourishes)
Paper - X-press It Blending Card, Green and Pink Bazzill, Very Vanilla, Papermania Rose Garden DP
Ink - Memento Tuxedo Black
Accessories - Copics, Large and Lacey Rectangle Nestabilities, Small Oval Nestabilities, MS Arch Lattice Punch, Pink Taffeta Ribbon, Bow Easy, Sewing Machine, Kaisercraft Blush Pearls, Foam Tape.

Just wait until you see the Beautiful Springtime Colours creations made by the other Beauty Girls!!!

I am SO ready for spring!!!! The cherry trees and magnolias are finally starting to bloom and it is SO nice to have some colour amidst the rain. Gorgeous flowers and colours on your card and loving the lacy squares and how you used the MS punch along the bottom. Have a great week :)
